Soft wisps of variegated kozo are added to a finer pulp to create a texture and colour reminiscent of a morning sky. A father and son make our Akebono papers in the traditional way in a small Japanese village. Washi is the word for traditional papers made by hand. The art of washi is an extremely labour intensive process starting
