2023 Weingut Wasenhaus Filzen Chardonnay 1.5L Magnum Baden, Germany Philip Lardot except the CheninA Chardonnay from steep slopes, western orientated, worked mainly manual and grown on limestone clay soil in Kirchhofen. Bunches got pressed as whole clusters, fermented in 1 600L damy barrel. Aged for one year on the full lees in barrel and another half year in stainless steel on its entire lees. This is a younger german clone with a bit more aromatics thus is a fresher style compared to Hohlen.
