Starting with the 2013 Languedoc Montpeyroux dAupilhac, this medium to full bodied blend of Mourvdre, Syrah, Carignan and Grenache offers ample black and blue fruits, damp earth and peppery herbs in a pure, mouth filling, rounded style. Mostly destemmed and aged 11 months by variety in demi muids, followed by 11 more months blended together in foudre, it should keep nicely through 2023. Apr 27, 2016
