Idar Oberstein Carnelian Bi-Cones scapolite 6mm x 9mm to 12mmThis is my favorite cut, a bi cone with small carvings along the precision cut edges. The strand is 28 inches long. The beads a slightly graduated in size. Smallest are 16mm x 13mm. Largest are 18mm x 16mm. 40 beads on the strand. There is slight damage to several beads, but the overall condition is excellent! These were traded in Mali, West Africa in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
