1937 Jesus Christ Tympanum Chartres Cathedral Animals - ORIGINAL CH2 XEE2 This is an original 1922This is an original 1937 photogravure of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Chartres (Cathdrale Notre Dame de Chartres) in France (Rpublique Francaise). Seen in the photogravure is the central tympanum depicting Jesus surrounded by the animals representing John, Mark, Luke and Matthew. The cathedral has survived several wars, and although the lead roof was taken off to make bullets, the architecture has only seen minor changes. The stained glass windows are
