A field blend of local varieties, including 70% Granaccia. The balance is Rossese, Barbera, and Cinsault with tiny amounts of other local varieties. From south facing vineyards, near the Mediterranean, in Ortovero. The vineyard consists of poor soil, limestone dominated sedimentary rock. Mediterranean microclimate, mitigated by the constant sea breezes. 35 year old vines.
