2021 Jolie Laide, Sauvignon Gris, San Benito County, USA Koerner The botanicals are macerated in100% Sauvignon Gris (a pink berried mutation of Sauvignon Blanc) from the gravelly loam and limestone soils of Paicines, the southernmost AVA of San Benito County. The grapes were gently pressed and naturally fermented in a combination of neutral oak and stainless steel. The wine is crisp with tart acidity and a nice aromatic range of citrus, stone fruit, and tarragon. There is a distinct herbal quality without the sharper green characteristics
