which I believe was helped to stay in place with a couple of dabs of glue at some point

Watercolor in Original Frame painted wooden horse with natural bristles--horsehair I believe--andFound in Maine though a sticker on the back indicated framed in Pennsylvania this is an unfussy and really quite luminous watercolor, early 20th century I believe. Just the sort that is a joy to live with, and would very much hold its own amid a salon style wall of painted landscapes, say. Very soft feeling but rather electric too. 12" x 8" framed, under glass in a period frame, as found. Lovely condition.
