I do know that sets like this are fairly precious

This one begins with a Spencerian  calligraphy drawing of a swan on the first inside page

making this a bit of a make do creation

I might guess 1950s or so but am not completely sure

I don't spend a ton of time looking at jewelry

Curious Small Logger Made (?) Painted Box with Newspaper Photo Inside toy bear I do know that setsA curious one, at least to me. Found in Upstate New York, my guess is that with the faux tree stumps and knotty, grained wood decoration on the exterior, and newspaper photo inset into the underside of the lid is that is was made by a logger, who, I'd guess, was working at the the site pictured in the clipped and carefully framed photo.
