The front plate much heavier than the back plate this set comes with its brass ring and leather shoulder straps connecting the rear and front plates

with a great color only small issues There are some age cracks in the butt stock starting at the butt plate

The grouping includes a thirty six pieces of correspondence (thirty five letters and one Western Union Telegram), along with a WWI 1920s era U. S. Navy Issue Sailors Flat Cap with an original U. S. S. ARIZONA tally originally fitted. The correspondence consists mostly of letters penned by Merrill sent to his mother.
