This is a very good condition example of a hard to find German WWII Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery Officers (Kstenartillerie Offiziere) M43 Einheitsmtze Field Cap., which looks to have seen light to moderate service during the war. The M43 Einheitsmtze (Unit Cap) is a variety of "Ski Cap" and was based on the Bergmtze (Mountain Hat) used by Austrian and German Gebirgsjger (Mountain Troops) during WWI. Germany had
