This is a very good condition original WWII Japanese Army type 98 tropical sun pith helmet. It still retains a wonderful form with internal bamboo wicker construction. Comes with original pentagonal brass army star insignia pin to the front. Helmet has part of the original suspension system and original chinstrap. Well marked original labels inside with faint kanji characters. Close reading shows a faint marking on
