This is a very nice example of an M1911 Campaign Hat with a scarce ordnance cord and a reproduction cloth chinstrap. This is an excellent example of what a U. S. Army infantryman would have worn during the Great War. The hat is offered in good condition considering it is well over 100 years old! The fine fur felt is excellent, but does have a hole that was sewn on the front as shown. The original crown band ribbon
