from the photos and figurines on the mantle to the pictures hanging on the walls to the wallpaper trim around the ceiling to the room beyond the tasseled pulled back curtain

allowing the propeller to turn

Wounded But Lovely Antique Hand-carved Bird on Wire antique dipper 7/16" thickObviously there's been a repair to the tail on this bird, and a bit of loss to the edge of one wing too, but you know I have a weakness for wounded animals, and I find this old carved bird in its old creamy white paint so beautiful, there was no way I could resist. The wire hanger is original to it and runs all the way through the body, and I believe the black eyes are glass. Definitely an old one, 19th c. American I believe, found in New Hampshire. 6
