Huge 1970s Studio Pottery Platter Signed MM, with Hand-painted Blue, Gray and Brown Design On Cream Body Burmese rendered in a warmThis is a striking, large (and heavy!), beautifully crafted hand thrown studio pottery platter decorated with a hand painted design in blue, grey and brown glazes over a cream slip. The wonderfully gestural surface decoration evinces a vertical sequence of blooms, or perhaps even birds, each one emerging from the one below it, giving the piece a great dynamism. This would be fantastic used as a huge serving platter for tapas or antipasti, but also
