it works summer to winter and with everything--I think it would be the perfect piece to wear with jeans and a t-shirt while throwing a pot or with a breezy linen dress to a farm-to-table dinner

especially that blue bow around the tugging dog's neck and the little girl's flailing arms and plaid stockings

While certainly a functional base for a dramatic floral arrangement

I think it would look fabulous filled wth succulents or a mother of pearl plant

the whole variety of birds and snakes and other creatures that surround them

If this had been done in porcelain or carved in a more refined way I think it might be too cute for me, but as is I think it is exactly right! Those little front paws and oh, that little face! 3 3 4" l x 2 7 8" t x 1 1 4" w and in great condition, with a fair amount of age. A pretty perfect stocking stuffer, for sure.
