Brought back by a US Soldier after WWII, this is a very nice Italian National Flag, which looks to have seen moderate service during the war. It measures approximately 43" X 38", is of three piece construction, with each color being a different piece. The Savoy Coat of Arms is dyed onto the white central portion. It does not have a separate header or hanging ties. The Savoy Flag was adopted in 1861 and relinquished
