dating sometime between 1912 and 1921 (after which pieces were marked “ZCPO” and “Zanes Ware

and finding her reflection there--with a certain mythological feeling about it all

And the giant bow at his neck feels perfectly in sync with the frame

No later than early 19th century I believe, hand carved of what I think may be walnut though I'm no good at identifying woods, and found in southern Maine. A rare and very lovely thing. 4 7
