This is an excellent example of a Vietnam Era General Officers Belt, as issued to Generals of the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and beyond. This example is affixed with an M9 Beretta Pistol Holster & magazine pouch, which would date it around the Desert Storm period. Up through WWI, all officers wore a brown belt with an interlocking eagle plate in garrison (The Model 1910 Officers Garrison Belt). After the war,
