This helmet is a fine example and still retains all of its original WW2 parts and the shell has all original "corked" grain paint with front seam and fixed bails

much of the original black leather head band remains to the interior and there is what appears to be the original maker's paper label dated 1834 inside the crown of the helmet

Heavy hard Rubber permanently attached handle cover with large curved blade axe head with spike protruding rearward. Measures 15 1 2 inches long, with a 8 inch long head. This style of axe was used by American bomber crews during WWII and after. This example is not dated, but is marked with US Military
