I'm not entirely sure what objects they represent--I'm guessing the one that looks like a jar is actually the glass cover on a lamp or lantern

so I had to rescue it and hopefully shepherd it forward

Lovely Old Wooden Painter's Palette with Soft Colors finely carved eagle and evincing a soul poisedI don't jump on many palettes these days, as I am quite fussy about the ones I like so many out there that look as if painted up to look as if they were actually used. But this is a nice old real one, probably tucked inside a painter's box to be used en plein air, with the colors on it just right for capturing a landscapes. Some paint and what I take for oil stain on the reverse side too. Lovely. 10" x 7", very nice presumed antique condition, late
