This is a very impressive brass hilted Artillery Side Arm measuring 27 inches overall, with a heavy, almost cutlass like 22 inch "SAW BACK" blade. The maker marking is partly missing, but CRAVEN is clearly legible, for "Cooper & Craven" a well known Napoleonic Sword Maker of the Napoleonic Wars and afterwards.
