I have not attempted to polish it but it is shiny and in very good condition as is

made even better by the caption--"Walker: Yes Madam both chairs are comfortable"--which shifts attention toward the two decidedly uncomfortable looking little chairs at her left

Very good vintage condition--I'd guess it dates from the 1930s or 40s--with a nice warm patina

I've learned there were a number of different Stanlo sets produced, including at least one that featured a motor all preceding the Erector set. Apparently, they never quite caught on, and now are pretty rare to find after spending a little time building with this
