Original British Enfield 1869 Snider Short Musket with Sling and Bayonet MG 34 Mounts " stamped to rear togetherOriginal Item: Only One Available. Produced for military prison service this is a standard snider two band short rifle with 26" barrel which has been smooth bored to fire lead shot as opposed a solid lead slug. Barrel and action bear full British proof and acceptance markings the lock is marked: [CROWN] V. R. ENFIELD 1869 The gun has the correct brass butt plate, trigger guard and nose cap. It is currently fitted with a colonial issue socket bayonet
