The set includes 16 clay and 1 wood marble and what I believe it a pretty old fabric pouch in which they came

Pretty, Old Hand-stitched Log Cabin Quilt or Pin Cushion Squares - Set of Four oval-shaped mirror featuring the raised image ofI came across these in a box of old salvaged quilt squares and thought they were just too pretty and labored over! not to retrieve. Their scale makes me think they were made to be pin cushions rather than quilt blocks, but I'm not entirely sure. I do believe they are pretty old and entirely stitched by hand which is quite evident from the backsides, which I think are almost as lovely as the fronts. Perhaps pieces to be made into something new, now, or
