Nice Old Barbed Wire Ball, Found in Kansas City old copper box I'm not sure if made

I'm not sure if made to be shot from a toy bow and arrow or just for their own sake but either way perhaps carved by a boy scout

I've developed such a fondness for these punch/perforated paper embroideries as they were done with much greater immediacy than needlepoint samplers on cloth

and found in Maine

with color form triangles that rotate over top

they are quite worn all over

Nice Old Barbed Wire Ball, Found in Kansas City old copper box I'm not sure if madeI found a large barbed wire ball a few years ago, but this is the first I've come across since in Kansas City, which seems a logical place to find a barbed wire ball! I like these as object and sculpture, making me think of both tumbleweeds and of Meret Oppenheim! Tightly wound, and with rusting to the wire, but this one not aggressively sharp. About 7 1 2" widest diameter. Good, tightly wound and very sound condition.
