Original British Copper Half Gallon Naval Jug - Marked H.M.S. Minotaur 1885 Stocks redesignated the PBO-1Original Item: Only One Available. From a 400 ton iron clad warship formerly named H. M. S. Elephant, launched in 1861, renamed H. M. S. MINOTAUR in 1863 which remained in service under that name until 1904 when it was renamed, a second time now to H. M. S. BOSCAWEN and finally broken up in 1922 at Swansea in Wales. This is a copper gallon jug of classical lines bearing a large "Fouled Anchor" to the body over HMS MINOTAUR and Half Gallon. Probably
