Plus what looks rather like the face of a tiger at the very center of the interior--simultaneously somewhat evocative of a crab

Other than the missing covering on the arms

I believe this dates to the 1st half of the 19th century

8 1/8" l x 1 1/4" widest diameter and in excellent condition
