This is a fantastic example of a Mid War M1910 Schirmmtze Feldgrau Visor Cap as worn by the Veterinary Corps (and Infantry) during WWI. The later M1907 1910 version would move to the Feldgrau (Fieldgray) that was seen mostly during the war. The cap is constructed of dark gray wool, which was the standard color for all states. It has Carmine (Karmesin) wool piping and is without a band. There is some heavy moth nips
