This is a lovely Boer War era holster for the Webley revolver, which at this time would have been the Webley Mk IV. The holster is very well marked on the reverse: THE MILITARY EQUIPMENT CO. Ld. 7 WATERLOO PLACE LONDON 1900 There are also several markings carved into the leather by its users, including 158701 and J. W. 652 M. G.. A great bit of information for a research project! The slot for the tool is still intact
