It has beautifully striped stems and pointed deep green leaves featuring prominent white veins. Commonly known as Elephant Ears or Taro, this genus is native to the tropical rainforest of Eastern Australia and Asia. The root system of Alocasia consist of tuberous rhizomes which store a huge amount excess water and nutrients. For this reason, Alocasia are more prone to
