Wonderful Antique Carved Wolf Head Pipe Bowl running boy --and all the better aI take this as a wolf with those exposed teeth, though I suppose it could be an especially ferocious dog! Whatever the case, quite a beautiful pipe bowl I'd say, which looks to have been carved from burl wood to me which gives the wonderful effect of a curly mane. Most definitely it was used, with blackening around and inside the opening of the bowl and a rich patina everyone else. 19th c. I believe and very lovely. 2 3 4 l x 2 t X 1 3 4 w, and nice
