also has a bit of a lumpiness to the form

to be held with two hands horizontally to play

and while I am not an expert on miniature portraiture

or which could be sold onto a doll needing a lovely pair of legs

Gorgeous Antique Mahogany Flame Shaped Finials carved toy gun 5" x 7" and basedSuch beautiful things! Found in Massachusetts, I believe these are mahogany, 19th c if not earlier, and were certainly once attached to some fine thing. I love them just as sculptural wooden objects to set somewhere, but with small holes in their bases they could certainly be used as finials once again. Sold as a pair. 4 1 16 t x 1 7 16 d ea. Excellent condition, with what appears to be a small dab of white paint on one of them, as pictured.
