This is a stunning example of an excellent condition M-1915 Imperial Bavarian Line Infantry Mannschaften (other ranks or EM / NCO) pickelhaube in good condition

with a bronze finish

but the maker marking and date are still clear:

Civil War issue Model 1840 Non Commissioned Officer's sword, just acquired at an estate sale, untouched for years. It was produced by Christopher Roby of West Chelmsford, Massachusetts. This company was of a much smaller scale than Ames, and all Roby made edged weapons are somewhat rare. The sword measures approximately 38 1 2" overall, and has an all brass hilt,
