Antique Leather and Silver-plate Glass Flask Canton porcelain box I've seen a few hand-carved

I've seen a few hand-carved wooden vessels made in Yugoslavia

with fancy ash splint "porcupine" curls all around the sides of the basket and lid

2 3/4" tall x 2 1/2" long x 7/8" wide

with a little darkening around the edges and a couple of dark spots on the front

I have enough French to get the gist of the text at left

The leather on this one is very well worn and dry and cracking in spots, but still holding on (I think perhaps with the assist of a little glue added between it and the glass at some point) and the bottom half, silver plate I believe, looks
