This is a lovely pair of French Rifled Percussion pistols, which started out as flintlock pistols, and were later converted. They are marked FOURNI PAR LE PAGE on the 8" multi grooved barrels. These pistols were originally made by the famous Parisian Maker JEAN ANDRES LEPAGE, who worked from 1792 until 1854. They were then converted to Percussion, with new breeches being added by FOURNI(ER) of Paris who worked from 1823
