Olive green painted, wood construction Trench Periscope with an adjustable leg prop and metal belt hook. The battlefield is viewed by the use of two opposing glass mirrors, one top, one bottom. A fairly crude design but it got the job done. Very good condition, some of the silvering on the glass mirrors is lifting but you can still view through the periscope perfectly. A very hard to find genuine Great War example.
