They remain in excellent condition

and I must say the tales take on a special sort of gravitas when delivered in a book more than 200 years old

and hinges are in great shape

but for me of course it is the incredible faces and postures and gestures of these men (and dog) that I love

(Which is what this one looks to me to be doing.) Also seems like that wide base (he's not a doorstop) could very well function as a clothes hanger. Certainly he could be hung from under his long ears. Found in Maine, and I just felt like there was too much love and specificity invested in him not bring home. I really love crayon colored
