Beautiful Old Japanese Shoe Maker's Pattern/Template (Last One) Indonesian hide fan and light crazingA year or two ago I purchased a handful of Japanese cobbler's patterns from a dealer friend in Maine and have sold them over time; this one is the last. What I know is that they were brought back from Japan years ago, retrieved from the archive of a shoemaker's workshop long since closed. I don't know enough about shoe or boot construction to read this as a pattern, but believe the quilt like collaging of silver and gold paper and blue and white
