These are from a group of wonderful old handmade animals I found this past weekend in New Hampshire (and splurged a bit on as I think they're pretty special)--I believe from a Noah's Ark set

with arms and legs straight down

playing at marbles

which would have matched popular decks of the time

and one does wonder about the load the photographer was carrying
