Pretty Antique Papier Mache Round Snuff Box with Silver Inlay vintage dansk yellow cookware these worry dolls--PeruvianI've always got an eye out for antique snuff boxes, shoe shaped and otherwise! This pretty one, mid to late 19th century, is lacquered papier mache, I believe intended to resemble tortoiseshell, though with the marbling more reddish than brown. The silver inlay (I'm not certain if sterling) appears almost entirely in tact, with a great combination of little flowers, squares, and fish shapes. (I see one little square missing). Very lovely. Very good
