One on side are two holes-- blowing through the top one sets the hand-carved little wheel spinning

but that sandal with the face at the top of the laces alone makes me love it

and a nice piece of history

which carries a terrific patina from what I'd think is 150 years at least of use

I found these two together, and would never think to break them up in my mind, these two gents have spent many decades together, wearing seersucker and pastel colored suits and I think likely have a proper English garden, and go antiquing together on Sundays! I believe likely German made and classifiable as "putz"
