I understand that this particular steel-encased model of standing noisemaker was standard at police and fire stations in the late 19th and early 20th century

Pretty Hand-painted, Signed Moroccan Bowl in Blue and White with Green Rim die cut valentine which the young owner seemsI can't so no to great pattern, especially in blue and white, and pretty green edge and salmony pink body on this bowl, too. Moroccan I believe, signed on the underside, and definitely with age to it, but 20th century i presume. A few rim chips, but with hand painted folk pottery like this, that feels to me as it should be. I'd fill with lemons for summer drinks and be happy. 8 1 4" diameter x approx 3" t. General wear and a couple of chips to the rim
