This is a very nice WWII German Labor Front (Deutsche Arbeitsfront DAF) First Pattern Flag Pole Finial or Topper (Fahnenstange Endstck) Eagle. It is constructed of nickel plated brass alloy, and is the early multi part design. It unfortunately has lost the socket and fittings for attachments to fit to a flag pole. The design is the standard DAF "Gear" Emblem, with a mobile canted Swas (swas) in the center. The finial
