Original U.S. Civil War Model 1859 Marine Corps Enlisted Mans Shako MP 40 Unlike the RGD-33Original Item: Only One Available. Dating from the Civl War this rare United States Marine Corps shako exhibits a gilt plaited, brass die stamped insignia of the Union shield with the letter M mounted within a stamped brass infantry horn. The shield is surrounded by a brass half wreath. The body of this shako is composed of a heavy weight pressed blue wool felt. The body is fitted with a 5. 5" diameter molded leather crown and a 1. 25" patent leather
