Wonderful Antique Painted Wood Fragment with Birds in a Row carved otter by Richard Thompkins This impressionistic oil on cardboard

This impressionistic oil on cardboard seascape is definitely among my favorites yet--and would be great as a pair with the coastal tree on rock of the same scale I've just listed

including for the fact that I really can't pin it down

with a tiny bit of cracking to the paint visible on a few of the flowers

came from the same estate and so I would guess are of roughly the same age
