We just received this lovely example along with about 200 other guns, from a collection that sat in an attic for close to 100 years. This is a very nice double barrel hammer shogtun, in a large 10 gauge bore, dating from the 1870's, which is marked: Marked CAST STEEL BARRELS on the barrel strap.
