M1887 sling. It was constructed as a one piece sling not the stitched 2 piece type with brass double claw hook on one end and a brass stud button on the other. Comes with only 2 of the 3 keeper loops. This sling was designed for use on the Springfield Trapdoor and Krag rifles. Condition of the leather is good, though the leather has darkened over time.
