This is a very nice example of a camouflage painted British made Mk. I Steel "Doughboy" helmet with its original liner, marked on the front to the United States Army Engineers. It features a lovely original "trench art" camouflage paint on the exterior. It is a unique pattern of stripes of green, yellow, red, and blue. The front has a beautiful painted Engineer Castle depicted sitting in a field with a blue sky above
