though leans a little to one side

Certainly, this piece pays homage to Japanese lidded ceramics with ornate finials (including, often, Foo Dogs), but here just a very sweet looking puppy functioning as a very handy handle. Both bowl and lid were hand thrown, and glazed inside and out, and there appears to be a potter's mark near the base of the bowl. Plenty large for storing lots of
